Well, I haven't seen Bob today, that's not necessarily saying he hasn't stopped by. But today is the first day that I haven't spotted him at my window.

A neighbor tells me that Western Tanagers try to get indoors when they're nesting. So I guess my (modest) yarn stash actually isn't as fascinating to him as it is to me... then again, he did particularly want to get into THIS house at THIS particular window... hmmm.

Sunday Bob and I were NOT on good terms. A word to the wise; if you want to stay on my good side, don't wake me at 5am. Bob learned this the hard way. He had the shade yanked down in his beaky little face, but it still took him a good half hour to take the hint. Despite his brilliant coloring, Bob is not the brightest crayon in the box...

Since then Bob has been at my window on and off everyday for varying lengths of time, until today. We'll see if he comes back tomorrow...
