Well I DID finish them!!! See?!

In the picture they've been washed & worn a couple times, so that's why they look a little...well... worn. And not fresh-off-the-needles

These are dad's double knit socks that I started him for Christmas last year.

I actually finished these a couple weeks ago, meaning to post about them and never getting around to it. It feels sooo good to have them done!!

For those of you that knew I was gone: Hi! I'm back!
For those of you that didn't know I was gone: I was gone over the weekend, but I'm back now!

It wasn't exactly a vacation, it was an 8 hr round trip drive and filling and loading three crates worth of VW parts, (no not mine - it's a long story). But in the end I got a new 8oz skein of Angora Valley sock yarn in this color way out of the deal, I might have avoided the cold going around here and I was able to buy myself 3 of the 4 volumes of original Pink Panther Cartoons on DVD while in civilization (that was the high point of the trip of course ;-) ). All's well that ends well, and I'm happy to be back.
