While I was back in civilization, mom had me pick up some knitting organizational stuff, we've been using the "Back-to-Back Packs" pencil boxes for a month or so now and realized how nice they are to keep our knitting tools together and in one easy-to-find spot in our knitting bags. So she had me pick up more, an extra one for her, and more to have on hand as knitting gifts/prizes, whatever she saw fit...

See? You can fill BOTH sides! How spiffy is that?

You notice my sisters box in the middle? She started to fill it recently and then was called away, so I finished, of course I assumed that she would probably want everything that was contained in her knitting bag, but she didn't seem to think that the red building block and the broken clamp belonged! (She denies that she ever put them there, and then says something about two little stinkers... whatever that's supposed to mean.)

Mom has also been wanting some 3 ring binders to start knitting journals in with patterns, pattern notes, the yarn band, a swatch, things like that. Since these were nicer than just a plain binder, and on sale for the price of the 'economy' ones, I picked out several for her and a few for me! You can't see it in the picture, but the bindings have horizontal thick-&-thin stripes that coordinate with the colors on the front.

I also got to pick up some things that had been deliberately or accidentaly left behind when I was there last in early August. Those things being my DVD shelf, my good tuning key, a new jean jacket and my mirror.

It's really nice to actually have a place to put my DVDs!

I'll need another sometime, but for now at least the old place has room for the overflow...
